Reinvention is like the rhythm of the tide—ever-changing, always moving, and always bringing something new. It’s a constant ebb and flow, each shift bringing us closer to the next chapter.
For me, every big shift in my life has started with a vision. Whether it was the time I took off on a spontaneous three-month sabbatical to Australia, which turned into a five-month quantum leap tour that changed everything, or how my business—and how I show up for clients—has evolved time and time again. Each change has always been sparked by an idea, an image, or a moment of inspiration that made me think, “Yes. That!”
For me, visioning isn’t just a concept—it’s a practice. I don’t just think about the next chapter. I build it, piece by piece. Take a peek inside my personal vision board for tips on how you can too.
My Visioning Ritual (and Why It Works)
I’ll admit it: I’m old-school. I love scrapbooks. There’s something so satisfying about physically collecting images, quotes, textures, and colours—anything that aligns with my vibe, or the energy I want to bring to life. If it’s tactile, tangible, 3D, I’m keeping it. My books are filled with moments of the future me, and I reference them over and over again. Reminding myself of the bigger picture and stoking the fire that keeps me moving forward.
And then, of course, there’s Pinterest.
